The author of The Great Kapok Tree wrote the following letter to you:
Dear Readers,
I wrote The Great Kapok Tree to let the world know what happens to the rain forest creatures and to the entire planet when rain forests are destroyed.
I hope that after reading this book you will help save the rain forests. The Great Kapok Tree is about the Amazon Rain forest- a tropical rain forest- but we have a temperate rain forest in the Pacific northwest of the United States that we must protect, too.
Please care for Mother Earth. Together we can make a difference!

Dear,Writer If I was the boy I would have not choped the tree down and i would have walked away and go to my boss and i would have told him i went asleep and then i woke up and i did'nt see the tree there. From,Nolan And Joseph.

ReplyDeletei would not have cut down the tree because it gives water, shelter, air, and food. i would not have cut the tree down because i would have wanted the animals to live.

ReplyDeleteIf I where the man in the story, I would not cut down the tree because, I would know how inportant it is to animals and insects.
ReplyDeleteThis story made us feel sorry for all the trees that are being destroyed. We also feel REALLY sad for all the animals that are now homeless. If we were the man in the story we would've listened to the animals and not cut down the tree.
ReplyDeleteI would listen to all the animals and just go home.I would get up and when i see it at my face and will run and say help there is beast chasing me. And i would also Scream to death and just spit on the tree and run as fast as i can.
